Senior Campaign Advisor Caroline Ross has lived in Southern California almost her entire life, predominantly in the Los Angeles area, then in the Lakewood/Long Beach area where she and her husband, Russell, raised their three sons.
She is a retired Human Resources professional, who specialized in Equal Employment Opportunity & Affirmative Action. Caroline worked for many years at Hughes Aircraft Company-EDSG, which was located first in Culver City and then in El Segundo. She continued to work there after it was bought by General Motors and became GM-Hughes Electronics, from which she retired.
Caroline worked with Organizing for America during President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign and was a member of the Lake Elsinore OFA Team.
Caroline became exposed to politics at an early age when her parents became active in their local Democratic Club. At the age of fourteen, she became a member of her local Young Democrats Club. She was inspired to became active in politics again in 2012 because she became disturbed with the machinations of the opposing political party and their four years of obstructing the agenda of the President and the American people who had voted him into office. She felt that she needed to take a more active role in getting President Obama re-elected, which is when she joined the Lake Elsinore Organizing for America Team.
She is the mother of three adult sons and has five grandchildren, all of whom currently live in the Lakewood/Long Beach and Cerritos areas.
