Toni Sandell, Senior Campaign Advisor

ToniWeb2Senior Campaign Advisor Toni Sandell has been a life-long Democrat. She was raised in upstate New York and received her B.A from SUNY Binghamton. She moved to Illinois and taught in Elgin for 8 years where she was involved in 3 strikes in 8 years, once as strike leader for her school. She earned her M.S. in Education with an emphasis on Learning Handicaps from Northern Illinois University.

She met her husband, Craig in Illinois. They moved to California in 1976, and settled in Riverside. Toni became a teacher in the Corona-Norco School District, where she joined the Corona-Norco Teachers Association. She was lead teacher in the Independent Study Program at Pollard High School and held numerous offices in the teachers’ association.

Toni earned an MBA with a concentration in finance from Cal State University San Bernardino. She was involved with Bill Hedrick’s campaigns for Congress and has volunteered to teach Citizenship classes for Catholic Charities. Toni has been a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for the Juvenile Court system and a Mediator for Small Claims Court.
