Tim Sheridan, who recently earned every vote cast in the California Democratic Party’s Pre-Endorsement Conference in California’s 42nd Congressional District, has been endorsed by Congressman Mark Takano (D – CA 41).
“I’m honored that Congressman Takano has endorsed our campaign,” Sheridan said.
Mr. Takano, who was first elected to serve California’s 41st District in 2012, is a member of the House Committee on Veteran’s Affairs. He is the Ranking Minority Member of the Committee’s Subcommittee on Economic Affairs.
“I admire Congressman Takano’s work on Veteran’s Affairs,” Sheridan added, “When I’m elected to Congress, I will focus on Veteran’s Affairs as well. We need to ensure that those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom receive each and every benefit that they have earned in a timely manner.”
California’s 42nd Congressional District, a geographical area shaped like the letter “X,” runs along the I-15 corridor from Eastvale, southeast to Temecula, and northeast along the I-215 and CA-79 corridors to Beaumont. It also includes the communities of Corona, Norco, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Murrieta, Menifee, Sun City, Winchester, Homeland and Nuevo. Mr. Sheridan lives in Lake Elsinore and was the 2014 Democratic nominee for Congress in the 42nd District.
